Dr. Banks Weed

Dr. Banks Weed was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He decided to pursue a career in dentistry during his undergraduate studies at Clemson University, where he graduated in 2014 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. He then attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2018. Following dental school, he completed a post-graduate residency program in advanced general dentistry at East Carolina University. Dr. Weed is a member of the American Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association. He believes that the field of dentistry is constantly changing and evolving, which motivates him to stay up to date on the most modern technology and research. He is committed to providing high-quality dental services with honesty, integrity, and compassion to care for each patient’s unique needs.

Dr. Weed and his wife have 2 daughters and a golden retriever. In his spare time, Dr. Weed enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping, being on the water, and playing disc golf. Dr. Weed is excited to be in upstate South Carolina and is honored to serve the people of the Anderson community.
